With nearly three decades under its belt, the veteran FotoPres ”la Caixa” press photography competition is reinvented in this latest edition. The result is the exhibition that now receives its premiere at CaixaForum Madrid. Presenting ten documentary image projects, this collective exhibition explores social issues in different places around the world, from perspectives that transcend the boundaries of photojournalism.

”la Caixa” Foundation opens its seventh cultural and social centre, the first to be housed in a completely new building, in Saragossa, capital of Aragon. CaixaForum Zaragoza will host exhibitions of all kinds, devoted to art, science and social issues as well as activities for all audiences. The new centre opens with a dual inaugural exhibition featuring works from the ”la Caixa” collections.
